Q: How is this different from home owners insurance?: A: Montage Jewelry Care is a plan that guarantees the wearability of the covered item, providing repair services to keep your product in like new condition. Whereas homeowners insurance covers against perils like loss, theft, fire, mysterious disappearance.

Q: How much does the Plan cost?: A: The cost of the Montage Jewelry Care plan varies depending on the price of the item purchased. Once purchased there are no shipping charges for repair or any other hidden costs

Q: What does the Plan cover?: A: The Plan provides coverage from failures including those due to normal wear. For jewelry this would include: Cracked, chipped, or scratched diamonds or gemstones (center stone coverage included with Lifetime Plan), broken, worn, or bent prongs, cracked or thinning ring bands, broken earring posts, chains, bracelet links, or clasps, stretched pearl strands, one ring re-sizing, one cosmetic rhodium plating. For watches this includes: Movement, broken stem, crown, or clasp, cracked crystal, case or bezel damage, water damage to water resistant watches, one strap replacement per calendar year, and one cosmetic refinishing. Q: What's excluded?: A: The Montage Jewelry Care plan does not include some coverage such as, watch batteries, the initial ring sizing or unknotted pearls. The care plan contains a list of all coverage and exclusions.

Q: What is the length of coverage?: A: lifetime on jewelry coverage. The coverage term will be indicated on your sales receipt, and this valuable protection starts on day one.

Claims / Service Q: What if I need service? A: If your covered item has been damaged and needs service, bring your item, a copy of your Care Plan, and your sales receipt to the retailer where you purchased your item. If you are unable to return to the retailer where you purchased the item, you may contact our Care Center at (888) 807-2249 or email claims@montagejewelrycare.com for instructions on how to obtain service. Q: Who will repair my product? A: Covered items will be repaired by the retailer whom you purchased your item from or the item will be sent out to a partnering authorized repair facility. There will be no additional shipping costs. Q: What if my product can't be repaired? A: In the unfortunate situation that your covered item cannot be repaired, Montage will reimburse you up to the full retail price of the product cost. See plan details for more information.
